CPi Biotech installs a 122kWp Solar PV System in new facility

We’re excited to announce that our new facility at Anchor Business Park in Little Island, Cork, is nearly complete!

A highlight of this project is the building’s impressive energy efficiency. We’ve equipped it with a 122kWp Solar PV System, capable of generating over 86,000 kWh annually, and a 75kW Huawei Hybrid Inverter. This setup will not only grant us energy independence but also contribute to reducing carbon emissions, underscoring our commitment to environmental sustainability.

This initiative is a major step forward in our pledge to sustainability. We’re focused on significantly cutting our absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 2030. Our near-term target, established through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and our active participation in EcoVadis—a platform for assessing ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) performance—reflect this dedication.

Moving into Anchor Business Park represents a key milestone in our company’s growth, and it’s fitting that renewable energy will be at the heart of our future operations.
